Work Exchange and Staff Positons at Song of the Morning
Living and working at Song of the Morning is an honor and
a privilege and a whole lot of good, clean fun! Work exchangers
and staff are considered and chosen through a period of
work-exchange and an interview. Resumes and letters of
recommendation are also helpful.
Song of the Morning is both a busy spiritual retreat center
and a place of residence and learning in a communal setting.
Learning to balance and harmonize these aspects is the
lively challenge facing everyone who comes here to live and work.
Currently we have staff and work exchange opportunities for the right persons. We need to fill the following positions: kitchen manager & maintenance manager. Stipends, based on experience, are paid along with lodging and meals.
You are invited to apply for a position if:
You are a committed spiritual seeker willing to consider hard work as an important part of your sadhana (spiritual discipline).
You are at least 16 years old and able to work a full day.
You are willing to attend regular meditations and follow the operating guidelines for all workers.
The work exchange periods may be as short as one day or much longer. Work exchangers work full time and receive room and board and a few benefits, including these extra-special benefits:.

Part-Time Work
For part-time work exchange you receive a discounted rate on lodging/meals, determined by hours of day one works. Since the cost of lodging includes meals, for half days (4 hrs.) you receive half off lodging/meals.
